How do I use it?
The easy answer is - it is good on anything! In Mexico you’ll find Salsa Macha on people’s kitchen tables, ready to enhance any savoury meal. Simply open the jar, give it a good stir with a teaspoon to mix up the goodness and drizzle over your food.
If this is your first time buying a chilli crisp type condiment then the best way to try it out is to fry an egg. Once it is cooked to your liking then drizzle a spoonful of Salsa Macha over it. You’ll never go back to a boring egg again! I like a spoonful over freshly cooked spring greens, cabbage or kale. Stir a spoonful or two through your rice to give it a kick. Marinate your chicken before you stick it on the barbecue or just put a dollop on a jacket potato with cheese. You can’t really go wrong.
Where Salsa Macha really shines though is to add a little gusto to your burrito, tacos or a piled up plate of nachos.
